Who We Are!!!

So I just finished reading Who We Are by Shanora Williams and I am very happy with the end result of Gage and Eliza's story. She left him to only come back to him and then he messes up and breaks them apart for two years. Only to have them come back together and finally fight for each other. I loved seeing the softer side of Mr. Grendel. Just because you are a rocker bad boy, doesn't mean you can't be a teddy bear in your private life. I also enjoyed Ellie stand her ground with Gage when she makes him choose and then continue on with her life even though it was hard to let him go again.
I loved how she was starting to bring in Roy's background into the storyline as well. It is a great segway to the next book. Which I know is having all of us FireNine fan curious as to how Mr. Roy Sykes came to be the way he is. And the introduction of Kelsey as his love interest is another great add. As well as Deed with his girl and Montana's love issues over a girl. I think personally for me I would love to read Montana's last. Build the hype for his. But that's my opinion and I am not the author who telling their stories. So we shall see.
Now for my only downfalls on this book. While I did enjoy reading about penelope losing;(even tho I LOVE the name penelope for a baby name. :-p) I am I bit sad by how little was mentioned on how she tried to ruin them. It to me was a little rushed. But at the same time, I kinda see this as a possible book opportunity. Shanora, message me lol. Also, I love the idea of Monica and Frank. More Monica than Frank, but that's because she is a firecracker and I hope to read more about her in any of these books. Lastly, For me, I wish there was more Kristina involved. I kinda would of love to of read about those two years with Gage and his sister while he was sabotaging his relationship with Ellie for Penelope. So many book ideas with all these Characters. And even those I feel these were downfalls, I still LOVE this book and series. It's still a 5 star rating because what my creative brain thinks up as I'm reading it.
